These were my best
sunglasses. They only exist as .3DS file now,
cause I sat on them. Since this was done before the shadow raytracing option
in 3D-Studio, I had to fake the semi-transparency effect in the shadow.
I
always wanted to do that to a pencil. Until the
advent of computer graphics, all my pencils just broke.
Building
a racing car
without Bezier patches is not easy, so don´t blame me for the result.
I
was going to model the first thing my gaze fell on. So this
floppy
was created.
The
second thing I looked at was my dining room
furniture. It was the first model I build to scale. 3D-Studio is not
as good as AutoCad when constructing precise models but nevertheless adequate.
I
can´t even remember why I made this
chandelier. Possibly for use in an adventure game?
When
I started modeling this candle, I only wanted
to fool around with semi-transparent objects. The
flame uses opacity maps
for the transition from the blue to the yellow part.
